ADRIANA OSPINA

Adriana Ospina is  an Art major with concentration in electronic media and arts of time with a Post graduate-degree as a Specialist in Multimedia Creation (2005). She also coursed the Master in Fine Arts in LUCA (Belgium) and,  has a Master in Museology from IULM, Milan. She's been in numerous film festivals and exhibitions. Adriana Ospina's artworks present a singular point of view on contemporary art practice, her whole artistic construct includes mediums like, photography, digital, video art, kinetic installation and sculptural practices. Her work is also in the collection of the Photo Museum of Bogotá (2003). 

 

In her latest digital work she questions the human hybrid nature between our human attributes and the virtual sense of presence.

 

Awards & Recognitions:

Best Video Art Award at New York Independent Film and Video Festival (2005). 12 Best projects of the IILA Award of Photography, Roma, Italia (2008). Contemporary  exhibit in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Bogota. Pulse Prize nominee at Pulse art fair Miami Beach. (2016).

Collections: PhotoMuseum of Bogota.

She’s also a researcher in the Area of Art and technology, she was a speaker in Technarte international conference on Art and Technology, Bilbao, Spain (2009), 1st International Congress of Design: Design, Art and New Technologies: Ways, Exchanges and Frontiers ISCE Lisbon, Portugal, (2006).
